Keane Targets a Successful Season First Everton
Joining Everton in the summer transfer window, Michael Keane has ambitions to further solidify his game as a senior player.
Since leaving Manchester United in the summer transfer market in 2015, Keane managed to put himself into the main team of Burnley, and became the mainstay in defense.
His decision to leave Old Trafford soon was a very good decision, and he managed to get a chance with England’s senior national team in a friendly in March against Germany and the World Cup qualifier against Lithuania.
And with his decision to boost his career with Everton next season, the 24-year-old defender hopes he will be able to get more chances to prove his capacity as one of the best defenders in England and gain the confidence of Gareth Southgate to be a mainstay in The Three Lions main squad.
Speaking to the media about his enthusiasm since joining Goodison Park, the Manchester-born midfielder stated, “I feel that Everton are a club that is currently on the right track to improve their success, and right now I think this club is a place that Right for me to grow.
“And when they cast an offer, I felt it was the best time for me to try to expand my career to the next level, and Everton is the right place to do that.
“I want to try to perform at a higher level along with this club, and try to gain the confidence of Gareth Southgate to return to England.
“The two chances I got before, always remembered in my mind, and made me realize that this is just the beginning of my career.
“Giving a good first impression is a must if I still want to be in the squad for the next matches.”
